Dave Black

Dave Black is a Founder and Vice President at Voce Communications. His expertise includes executive leadership brand building, strategic corporate and product PR campaigns across North America, Latin America, and Asia Pacific for Fortune 1000 brands. Dave has extensive business media relationships and has achieved high impact results for a variety of big name public companies. Dave has also been involved in targeted public affairs campaigns hubbed out of Washington D.C. extending client brands into the Beltway.

Dave is also head of the Voce Public Relations Practice Group. The group provides continuing education and mentorship opportunities for Voce, as well as monitoring trends and shifts in the media and public relations industries. In particular the team drives strategic PR programs across Voce's client base providing results oriented counsel taking organizations to the next level of visibility and lead generation.

Prior to Voce, Dave worked at Weber Shandwick where he managed public relations for numerous divisions of Compaq Computer Corporation, including the networking, Internet/e-commerce, and high-end server divisions. Furthermore, he spearheaded Compaq's Silicon Valley external communication efforts for several high-profile corporate announcements, including the acquisition of Digital Equipment Corporation, and the spin off of AltaVista.

Previously, Dave worked with Mathews & Clark Communications, a technology public relations firm specializing in semiconductor equipment and material providers.

Dave is a former President of the Silicon Valley chapter of PRSA and has spoken at numerous PR industry Webinars and events.
